Gregory Koors, D.C.
Dr. Koors earned a bachelor's degree with a double major of anthropology and economics,
with departmental honors, at Occidental College in 1970. He later earned his Doctor of
Chiropractic degree at Western States Chiropractic College, graduating summa cum laude and
class valedictorian in 1990. While at Western States he was awarded the faculty honors
scholarship and was primary teaching assistant in the anatomy lab for four terms. Since 1998
he has been appointed Associate Faculty of both Western States Chiropractic College and
Palmer College of Chiropractic in the internship programs, charged with completing the
training of future chiropractors.
Since 1990, Dr. Koors has been serving the Eugene and surrounding communities with exceptional chiropractic care. He has been a Board Eligible Chiropractic Orthopedist since 1994 and a Board Eligible Functional Neurologist since 2012. He taught Anatomy and Physiology at the Cascade Institute of Massage and Body Therapy in Eugene from 1994 through 2000. In 1999 he began advanced training in upper cervical care with the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association and achieved Level II NUCCA certification in 2004. Dr. Koors currently draws patients from all over the state of Oregon, in search of his experience, skill and reputation for delivering excellent upper cervical care.
Nicole Schmidt, D.C.
Dr. Schmidt received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer
College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating summa cum laude and Class
While at Palmer, she participated in Palmer's Clinic Abroad program, traveling to Southern Brazil to serve patients who have very limited access to medical or chiropractic care. As a student intern, Dr. Schmidt began caring for her patients using the NUCCA technique with satisfying results and started attending NUCCA seminars. Following graduation she took advantage of the opportunity to train with Dr. Koors in the internship program through Palmer College. She is currently an active member in the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, attending NUCCA conferences annually and pursuing her Level I certification. Since becoming an Associate doctor at Eugene Spinal Care, Dr. Schmidt has been caring for patients of all ages with NUCCA and has seen dramatic changes in conditions ranging from neck and low back pain to high blood pressure.
Before becoming a NUCCA doctor, Dr. Schmidt received her bachelor's degree at Bates College in Maine and later worked as an Instructor for the North Carolina Outward Bound School for several years. A native Californian, she is glad to be back in the West and happy to be raising her family in Eugene.
